Aims and scope

The Proceedings of the International Ocean Drilling Programme (hereafter referred to as the Proceedings) is an open-access multidisciplinary journal dedicated to publishing reports and research results for IODP³ drilling/coring expeditions and SPARCs (Scientific Projects using Ocean Drilling Archives).

Each expedition or SPARC has its own dedicated volume, and the content of these is as follows:

• IODP³ Scientific Ocean Drilling Expeditions: Scientific Prospectus, Expedition Summary, Methods and Site Reports, and Data Reports;
• IODP³ SPARC expeditions: Scientific Prospectus, Expedition Summary, and Data Reports.
